Winner this year, one of our popular village Post Ladies, Julia Buckland. Julia is always helpful, bright and cheerful when seen about her rounds, whatever the weather! Congratulations Julia.

In 2008 the parish council decided to create an award for 'villager of the year', an award that would presented to an individual as recognition for their good works within the Market Lavington community. The winner will receive a shield and their name will be engraved on a plaque which will be situated in the old school.

 

 

Each year between November & December a ballot box is placed in the post office for villagers to make their nominations. Please use this opportunity to highlight the good works or generosity of a villager that you know.
