Friends of Canada Woods
We are a small but growing group of volunteers whose aim is to restore and maintain Canada woods. Our next project is to restore the Bubbling Kettle to its former glory, allowing villagers to sit and relax on an island. Over the past few years this part of the woods has become overgrown and disheveled. With your help we can clear the weeds and debris, restore the island, insert seating and improve the bridge.
Work on footpath

Much work has been done to improve the path as it runs parallel to the stream near the foot bridge. The bank has now been both raised and reinforced. The Parish Council have now laid a concrete memorial on the path in the memory of the late Di Lunn. As Chairman of the P.C., Di was always very keen to promote restoration work being done in Canada woods. Her 'chicken' shoulder bag was always in evidence and so is depicted on the memorial. near the
